Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the semiconductor industry? Beneq, a global leader in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) solutions, is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Semiconductor Business Unit. This role offers an exciting chance to work in a multidisciplinary team, drive innovative solutions, and make a direct impact on the future of ALD technology.

Your Role at Beneq

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing electrical and control solutions for our semiconductor ALD equipment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless transition of new products into manufacturing while maintaining the highest industry standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the electrical and control aspects of ALD equipment development as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Make critical decisions regarding PLCs, control devices, and other electrical components.
  • Design electrical drawings and specifications that comply with IEC, UL, SEMI S2, and NFPA 79 standards.
  • Provide technical clarity and articulate the logic behind engineering decisions in technical meetings.
  • Participate in technical escalations and contribute to long-term improvements to enhance product reliability and performance.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Electrical Engineer who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical/automation design (400/230 VAC, 24 VDC, UPS, cabinet layout, cable design, etc.).
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong experience with electrical CAD tools.
  • A solid understanding of electrical standards.
  • A problem-solving mindset, a customer-focused approach, and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience in project planning and supervision.

Bonus Skills That Set You Apart

  • Experience using Eplan P8.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation and safety standards.
  • Experience in thin film processes (ALD, PVD, CVD, or PECVD).
