Trueline's client, a leading environmental remediation company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Gardner, Massachusetts. This role will involve both office-based design work and hands-on field activities for thermal treatment projects aimed at restoring contaminated soil and groundwater.
What You'll Do as the Electrical Engineer:
- Design electrical power distribution systems for remediation projects, handling loads from 500 kVA to over 5000 kVA
- Create comprehensive design documentation, including calculations and specifications
- Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment at project sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs
- Contribute to R&D projects and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Conduct site visits and quality control inspections
You'll Succeed as the Electrical Engineer if you Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in environmental or industrial electrical engineering (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally (less than 20% of the time)
- Hands-on experience with industrial or environmental remediation electrical systems (a plus)
