WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
The offered position (Electrical Engineer) is for SUEZ E&C (Engineering and Construction), a transversal business of SUEZ dedicated to water treatment infrastructures (potable water plants, desalination plants, wastewater treatment plants, etc.) and waste for the international market. Its broad scope of activities covers areas of design, construction, finance, and operations, providing technical expertise in project management. Responsibilities: - Experience in managing, planning, and monitoring of electrical and control engineering projects - Coordination with other departments- Design of HV/MV/LV electrical and control systems for water and waste treatment plants in tenders and executions- Development of detailed electrical and control engineering - HV/MV/LV electrical calculations (load flows, short-circuit currents, motor starting, harmonics, protection coordination, etc.) - Sizing of MV/LV electrical equipment and cables- Design of electrical buildings, cable routing, and conduits - Technical documentation and specifications of electrical and control equipment - BOQs of installation material- Management with electrical companies - Coordination and review of supplier and subcontractor documentation - FAT tests of electrical equipment and control systems -Development
of proposals, pre-sizing and estimating electrical, instrumentation and control
components of industrial plants.
Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?
Education: - Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Requirements: - Fluent in spoken and written English - French (desirable) - Knowledge of international electrical standards - Advanced computer skills - Electrical design software ETAP - Electrical design software Caneco - Presto software for budget preparation - Knowledge of industrial safety, functional safety, ATEX (desirable) - Aveva Engineering design software (desirable) - Revit software for BIM projects (desirable) Soft skills: - Ability to integrate into international, multidisciplinary, and multicultural work teams - Adaptability, creativity, and proactivity - Communication, negotiation, and reporting skills - Organized and methodical Experience: - Minimum 10 years in electrical/control system design and proposals - Experience in international projects - Experience in construction / Commisioning (desirable) What do we offer you? • Type of contract: Permanent • Workplace: Bilbao office • Conditions: Hybrid • Availability to travel (less than 10% per year) • Start date: As soon as possible
