Facilities Electrical Engineer – Long-Term Government Program in Honolulu, Hawaii

Engenium is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to join a long-term government program in Honolulu, Hawaii. Requirements

• Security Clearance: Possess or be eligible for a SECRET clearance.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (minimum four-year degree).

• At least six (6) years of design management and/or design experience in tasks such as facilities electrical engineering and multidisciplined project design.

• Professional License: U.S. Professional Engineering (P.E.) Registration in the discipline (preferred, but not required).

Technical Expertise:

• Broad-based engineering principles and strong technical knowledge in facilities electrical engineering.

• Proficient in design calculations for electrical services, transformers, power distribution systems, and overcurrent devices.

• Skilled in lighting calculations, layouts, fixture specifications, and creating/editing AutoCAD drawings.

• Well-versed in the National Electric Code.

Communication Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

• Experience preparing correspondence, detailed reports, and briefing management.

Technology Proficiency:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and adaptability to new software (eCMS, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).

Additional Requirements:

• Provide satisfactory proof of U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized).

• Complete the SF-85-P Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions.
