The Personal Care Senior Manager leads a team which delivers engineering and process solutions around Electrical Technologies. The primary accountabilities include the management of people and processes in the pursuit of managing the innovation, development, and execution of all electrically-focused technologies on converting assets and supporting systems (Drives, Process Controls, Software, Networks, Packaging, Adhesives, Vision, Registration, etc.) and maintaining standard Personal Care Engineering Practices and providing training to Baby/Child Care, Adult/Feminine Care, and corresponding Global teams around electrical technologies. This role will manage relationships with external technical service partners in partnership with Supply Chain Engineering, and the Personal Care business relationships with key suppliers of these technologies, in partnership with the Technical Leaders on the team. 

In this role, you will:

Own and monitor processes to ensure excellence in delivering technology development and execution for electrical technologies.

Support the Personal Care Technical Service Provider strategy to ensure Personal Care business needs for value, speed to market, and quality are met.

Drive continuous improvements in areas of responsibility and ensure electrical engineering knowledge is consistently applied across Personal Care

Support the launch and post launch of platform programs, problem tracking and issue resolution around these technologies.

Manage people and financial resources effectively to deliver Personal Care and platform specific business plans.

Implement business enhancing best practices within the Personal Care R&E organization including IMF, LEAN, PMP, portfolio management and resource management.

Ensure all work complies with corporate safety, regulatory, product safety and sustainability requirements.

Protect and defend K-C proprietary technology and products through appropriate use of patents and trade secrets and effective protection of proprietary information. Challenge competitive intellectual property to ensure right to practice for K-C technologies and products

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant discipline

5+ years of manufacturing, technical, scientific, or engineering experience.

3+ Strong leadership experience coaching and developing team members for career development and performance improvement.

Experience managing Technical Service Providers & Vendors.

Experience driving decision making at all levels within the organization

Experience leading and facilitating problem solving across teams to achieve desired results.

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

Innovation process development experience.

Experience in LEAN Implementation.

Global manufacturing experience.


The anticipated pay range for this job has a range of $158,000 – $195,000.
