Sr. Electrical Engineer
Atlantic Design Group, Inc. currently has a job opening for a senior electrical engineer. The ideal candidate is a registered PE with 10+ years in the consulting engineering field, with excellent technical and verbal and written communication skills, and a strong work ethic and leadership abilities. Previous experience managing a team a plus. Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred.
The senior engineer will provide technical and project management leadership to the electrical engineering group on a wide variety of design and design-build projects. Electrical engineers at ADG design power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and a variety of special systems. Prior design experience should include the following:
· High-reliability power systems including generators and UPS
· ASHRAE 90.1 compliant lighting and lighting controls
· Fire alarm and mass notification systems
· Power studies including coordination study, arc flash, and short circuit calculations, utilizing either ETAP or SKM
Duties include all aspects of design development including project task order management, site surveys, construction drawings and specifications, and construction phase services. There are opportunities for career growth in this position.
