Sr. Electrical Engineer - Power Generation

Location - Kansas City, MO

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer to design and implement innovative power generation solutions. This role offers you the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, work on cutting-edge projects, and play a pivotal role in our client's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems, analyze data, and oversee power distribution to ensure reliable and efficient systems.
• Develop technical specifications, one-lines, schematics, cable schedules, and system layouts.
• Conduct feasibility studies, energy efficiency evaluations, and power system simulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and structural designs.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
• Provide technical support during project execution, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power generation or renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design and simulation software.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• PE license preferred.
