This candidate will have responsibility and cognizance of BIW's electrical infrastructure at multiple facilities and provide technical support to maintenance and project activities that ensure its reliability for both current and future needs.
Required/Preferred Education/Training
BS in Engineering required. Electrical or Electronics Engineering strongly preferred.
Licensed Professional Engineer preferred other Certificates or Licenses a plus
Required/Preferred Experience
Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and applicable local, state and federal codes
Minimum of 5-years electrical/electronics work experience in industrial/commercial setting.
Prefer experience with Distributed Control System (DCS) and Computerized Numerical Controls (CNC)
Prefer experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and A/C, D/C variable speed drives.
Ability to develop, and provide support for Facilities maintenance & projects.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Plant maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility a plus.
PC skills mandatory (Microsoft office products a plus).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
