Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent. MS desired.

Required experience
- 5 years’ experience designing with FPGA and SoC (System on chip)
- Experienced with both the Vivado and Quartus FPGA Development Environments
- Experienced with ModelSim and other simulation tools.
- 2 Years experience in timing closure on FPGAs with high % utilization.
- Functional knowledge of Verilog or VHDL
- Skilled with PCI Express and high-speed SERDES. Familiar with common communication busses and associated protocols; CAN, Ethernet, I2 etc
- Familiar with integration of 3rd-party logic IP cores
- Familiar with imbedded hard-core and soft-core microprocessor designs
- Experienced with external memory IC interface and margin testing.
- Expert in SoC pin assignment and harmonization with the circuit card schematics
- Comfortable with SoC power budgeting and power sequencing
- Skilled with simulations at various levels of abstraction, from systems to components
- Experience with of DO-178 and DO-254
- Good with formal design processes such as requirements management
- Good specmanship, able to author requirements and test documents.
- Comfortable with both electronics and software design
- Experienced with configuration management.

- Good verbal and written communication skills
