Job Summary

Mazzetti is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and leading high-impact healthcare projects. This role involves technical leadership, client engagement, and project management responsibilities, contributing to the success of our large-scale healthcare projects locally and nationwide. As a trusted consultant, you will manage electrical engineering processes, represent Mazzetti's expertise, and ensure projects meet and exceed client expectations. This position serves as a springboard for other leadership opportunities within Mazzetti, offering a path to further career growth. This position requires a local presence in Sacramento or the Central Valley and offers relocation assistance within California for the right candidate.


Your Tasks Will Involve

  • Lead the electrical engineering scope for large-scale healthcare projects, including outpatient and inpatient facilities.
  • Oversee and engage with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage engineering processes and design team to deliver projects that meet client needs and high expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted consultant and representing Mazzetti's expertise.
  • Collaborate in a client-facing role to ensure exceptional service and technical excellence.
  • Actively participate in local Big Room sessions to maintain project momentum and communication.

Work Location

This hybrid position is based in the Sacramento, California area. The candidate will primarily work remotely but will be required to visit the project sites weekly.


Travel Requirements: up to 20% locally and nationally.

Requirements

Expertise And Abilities You Will Contribute

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering design, with a focus on healthcare projects.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Technical Competence: In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and healthcare systems.
  • OSHPD Experience: Proven understanding and application of OSHPD standards.
  • Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex engineering projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and deliver exceptional service.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing or supervising teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to lead client relationships and drive client leadership engagement, even without an existing client base.
  • Experience with Master Planning of Healthcare Campuses.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical expertise with process management and client satisfaction.
  • Skilled at using LEAN principals and Integrated Project Delivery.

Compensation: The typical salary range for a Senior Electrical Engineer – Healthcare in Sacramento, CA is $170,000-$200,000. Final compensation may vary based on experience and job-related skills.
