With a consistent stream of ongoing projects, we are always on the lookout for highly motivated and experienced Building Services Engineers with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering to join our team.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services at Marline, you will be responsible for providing design and engineering solutions for electrical building services on a range of projects across various sectors including health, retail, residential, education, commercial, aged care, and leisure. You will work closely with other engineers and designers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
We have a permanent opportunity available with the following key responsibilities:
- Manage client and external relationships
- Manage and prepare fee proposals and tender submissions
- Supervise and certify detailed electrical design work and certification
- Develop and supervise project plans, timelines, and budgets for a range of projects
- Supervise engineering reports, specifications, and drawings
- Liaise with clients, architects, builders, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide engineering advice
- Conduct site inspections and support the installation and commissioning of building services systems
- Provide technical support to project managers and other team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines
- Develop, train, and manage team members
To be successful in the role you will have;
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in building services engineering design and project delivery, preferably across a range of sectors
- Registered Professional Engineer; Registered Design Practitioner in NSW; Accredited Fire Systems Designer
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, fire protection, mechanical, and electrical systems, and design principles
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and ability to peer review
