Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (Temporary) that has previous experience of working across Details Design Engineering, particularly in Food and Beverage industrial or manufacturing projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

What makes you remarkable?

• Design electrical systems and components for the manufacturing facility
• Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Overseas the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution and control systems
• Ensure integration with other engineering systems
• Ensure electrical systems comply with the safety standards and regulations
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
• Perform detailed testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety
• Commissioning the electrical systems and ensure they meet performance standards
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years’ experience, particularly in industrial or manufacturing settings
• Hold Professional electrical (power) engineering License
• Experience in power systems, electronics, and control systems
• Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, ETAP)
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Excellent design, installation, and commissioning skills
• Demonstrate ability to manage projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
