Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Electrical, Lighting, and Control Systems to support the ambitious expansion. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain industry-leading standards for Electrical, Lighting, and Automatic Control system design.
  • Coordinate with external design consultants to ensure consistent designs across various firms.
  • Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Oversee a commissioning program for electrical systems at new facilities, collaborating with third-party consultants.
  • Perform system evaluations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide integrated solutions.
  • Analyze energy models and recommend energy-saving strategies.
  • Assist in equipment procurement and installation.
  • Ensure operational standards are met and seek improvement opportunities.
  • Provide construction administration services, including addressing questions and documenting conditions and deficiencies.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Electrical Design from an accredited program.
  • 7+ years of experience in system design with multiple types of building electrical systems.
  • Experience with Commissioning and Energy Standards.
  •  3+ years of experience in achieving budget goals.
  • Ability to perform site investigation activities, including accessing roof and ceiling spaces.
  •  Expertise in power distribution systems, low voltage systems, and industry Codes and Standards.

Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical disciplines.

Preferred Requirements:

  •  Project management and construction administration experience.
  • Familiarity with REVIT MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, and lighting design software.
  • Experience with short circuit software analysis tools.
