About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Buildings, Rail or Construction background.
This role may also include working on projects internationally for Egis, including travel within the UK and Ireland. The role is based in our London office on a hybrid basis.
You must have the right to work in the UK
The Senior Electrical Engineer forms part of the engineering team within the global structure of the company and assumes general responsibilities that proactively contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
This includes responsibility for all design, engineering, documentation, administration and compliance with project constraints undertaken for all other disciplines.
The following is an overview of the responsibilities and performance standards required of the Electrical Engineer
Duties & responsibilities
Review of the co-ordinated construction drawings and documentation.
Prepare RFI’s and issue them to the client.
Detailed review of specialist supplier packages for compliance with project specifications and applicable industry standards.
Prepare and monitor the procurement schedule in conjunction with the procurement team.
Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the client.
Review BCAR preliminary inspection plan and coordinate with the quality team.
Monitor LEED and BREEAM requirements and submittals as required.
Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals.
Assistance with client demonstrations. Review and provide attendance during the commissioning stage.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Attributes
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
