About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced electrical systems across various projects. This is a senior-level position that requires an active Professional Engineer (PE) license, along with extensive experience in electrical engineering and a strong proficiency in ETAP software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Design and Development: Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of complex electrical systems, ensuring solutions are efficient, innovative, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Technical Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Review, approve, and validate electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive solutions.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Oversee the performance of electrical systems post-implementation, proactively addressing any issues and ensuring reliability and longevity.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to continually refine processes and recommend best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering, with proven expertise in system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ETAP software is required, with strong knowledge of electrical design principles and safety regulations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead teams, present complex concepts, and interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
