Our client has been an industrial engineering leader for more than 50 years, and they are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and engineering for heavy industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and contribute to projects in industries such as petroleum, chemical and power generation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design, including medium/low voltage calculations and detailed drawing packages.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NFPA, IEEE, API).
- Collaborate with clients, utilities, and internal teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Support construction with contractor reviews, vendor coordination, and on-site investigations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Experience: 10+ years in industrial sectors (oil & gas, refining, power, manufacturing, etc.).
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in power system modeling (SKM, ETAP) and electrical design software.
- Controls engineering experience. PLC design, I&C portion of P&ID development, I/O list development.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Must be willing to travel
