What We Offer 

The I&E Engineer provides support to projects, including PCT Technology and Engineering expertise to reach project targets 

Major Responsibilities 

  • Provide support for PCT cost and schedule to reach project quality, cost and schedule   

  • Provide PCT related inputs to support project team with PCT know how  

  • Provide support to all relevant PCT safety and HAZOP activities to reach project safety goals  

  • Prepare documentation for PCT (basic, detail, interface, final) in EPDS 1-99 Project File Structure to ensure the delivery package fully compliance  

  • Follow PCT related workflows and guidelines, coordinate technical personnel in view of legal obligation and company policy to ensure complete and consistent PCT design package

  • Provide technical expertise in the tendering process and in negotiations with the Project EPC and suppliers to ensure project cost target can be achieved 

  • Provide support to all necessary activities related to (Factory) Acceptance Tests to ensure project quality target can be achieved  

  • Support expediting for all PCT critical items (eng. documents, technical goods) to ensure quality and quantity of PCT technical goods to execute project  

  • Evaluate scope changes (reasons, schedule and financial impact) to support project manager steering project  

  • Conduct and monitor proper execution of Functional Safety activities as per company guidelines and framework to ensure safe design of Covestro plants

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation or Chemical Engineering
