We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of solar panel installation, electrical work, and system maintenance in a fast-growing industry. You will work closely with experienced electricians and installers, gaining hands-on experience and skills essential for a successful career in renewable energy.

As an apprentice electrician with Energy Bay Developments you will


  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for solar PV and BESS systems.

  • Create Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), AC & DC wiring diagrams, and other technical drawings.

  • Select PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components.

  • Conduct shadow, cable, and earthing analysis for system optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and project documentation.

  • Perform feasibility studies and yield assessments for new projects.

  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and technical support.

  • Assist with grid connection applications and utility coordination.

  • Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and testing phases.

  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and installers.

  • Conduct site inspections.

You will be successful in the role if you:


  • Graduated in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

  • Demonstrated Software Skills: AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Office suite

  • A strong interest in renewable energy and a desire to learn

  • Good communication skills both written & verbal

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Strong project and time management skill

  • Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.

  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
