Corvid Technologies is seeking a motivated and skilled technician to work in our electronics lab. We specialize in high tech solutions for NASCAR, the Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, NAVY, U.S. Bobsled, and several other customers. We are looking for candidates with a background and certifications in electrical system assembly and testing. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for testing electrical components and working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to develop and maintain test procedures and methodologies. The Technician will build test harnessing, test sets and be responsible for maintaining lab equipment. Experience with launch vehicles is preferred, but any qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance
Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree from a technical school
Experience with launch vehicles preferred but not required
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of electrical system design, development, and testing
Knowledge of flight vehicle telemetry and ordnance systems electronics
Experience with launch vehicles as well as the build/test/launch process
Experience working in an electronics lab
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to engineering team, component/system suppliers and DoD program management
Current J-STD-001FS IPC Specialist Certification.
Daily Responsibilities:
Interface with commercial and defense industry component/system suppliers to define overall system requirements and obtain subsystem performance and packaging data for system modeling and simulation
Build and test of electrical components
Manage quality and overall product reliability
