We are looking for a detail oriented and resourceful person who can take a hands-on approach with projects. You're going to be elbow deep in some creative and dynamic work. We are currently looking for an energetic, innovative Electronics Engineer with experience working in a fast-paced environment. This team member must be a problem solver and must be ready to jump in immediately.

Duties/Responsibilities: *Performs other related duties as assigned. 

  • Experience with Arduino hardware and software required 
  • Cooperate with creative team members to ideate, develop design intent, and determine design details and specifications based on the client need 
  • Participate in ideation and innovation discussions 
  • Possess creative problem-solving capacity 
  • Identify parts, wiring, components based on the need required 
  • Collect information on project specifications, performance requirements, and known capabilities and limitations  
  • Design circuitry, wiring and component integration for PCB board fabrication 
  • Provide design drawings to the relevant team members 
  • Create Bill of Materials, parts and components lists for Purchasing Department 
  • Assist in providing estimates of design, materials and labor costs to Project Manager 
  • Direct external production sources, when required, to produce custom components as needed 
  • Experience in Theming, Robotics, Animatronics a plus 
  • Ability to participate in production and design meetings 
  • Highly organized, motivated and creative 
  • Design applications and systems to meet the project requirements, collaborating with engineers, programmers, and other developers as needed. 
  • Guide team members through design and implementation of features? 
  • Write clear, well-architected, maintainable and portable code? 
  • Maintains knowledge of existing and developing technology and trends in technology 


Software Experience: 

  • AutoCAD or similar programs 
  • PCB Design Software such as Eagle or Altium (preferred) 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to create reports and documentation.  
  • Ability to work with various programming software Python, Javascript, C++ Programming a plus  


Design Background/Skills: 

  • Recent experience (<2 years) in design and calculation software 
  • Designing Analog and Digital Sensors 
  • PLC programming experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
Requirements

Education/Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school 
  • Experience in Themed Entertainment a plus, but not required. 
  • Bonus Round: Robotics and ability to control motors and electrical systems.
