Electrical Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

 As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and grow your skills in the field of Electrical Engineering. You will work closely with our engineering team on a range of projects to gain experience in requirement gathering, solution implementation, testing, and technical documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist in the design and layout of instrument subsystems, including electrical circuits, systems, and components

· Learn the skills required to troubleshoot and prove out prototype electronics

· Assist in testing of laboratory instrument subsystems

· Collect and analyze data, and assist in the interpretation of results

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various engineering projects and initiatives

· Provide technical documentation for improvements, updates and tests

· Transfer gained knowledge to the Electronics Development team

· Other duties as assigned

 EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

· Eager to learn and experiment

· Passion for instrumentation and testing

· Good fundamentals in circuit theory

· Exposure to analogue and digital circuit design

· Exposure to microcontrollers and firmware development

· Experience using test equipment

· Programming skills a plus (Arduino, Beagle Bone, Raspberry Pi)

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
