We are seeking a motivated and talented Electrical Engineering Intern/COOP to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in circuit design and PCB development within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and some practical experience with circuit design and PCB CAD software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic circuits for quantum control systems.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to create and optimize PCB layouts using CAD software.

- Participate in the assembly and troubleshooting of prototype hardware.

- Conduct research and contribute to the development of new hardware solutions.

- Document design processes and test results.

 

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Classroom or hands-on experience with basic circuit design and simulation.

- Experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMM.

- Experience with coding using Python.

- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub is helpful.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies.

 

Ideal candidate will have:

- Familiarity with PCB CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad)

- Soldering experience
