Electrical Engineer with PLC Knowledge

Robbins Lumber Inc. is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with PLC systems, a passion for solving complex technical challenges and be willingness to be hands-on.

**Key Responsibilities: **

- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and controls for various projects.

- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems and related hardware/software.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems into existing and new  equipment.

- Perform system analysis, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation of electrical designs, PLC programs, and project specifications.

- Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

- Provide technical support and training to team members and clients as needed.

**Qualifications: **

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.

- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, control systems, and instrumentation.

- Experience with HMI systems, SCADA, and other industrial automation technologies is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
