Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Brisbane-based Electrical Engineer. This role focuses on delivering high quality projects for our internal and external clients. The role also supports identifying opportunities, development of proposals and winning work.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Perform general electrical engineering tasks (design calculations, data analysis, using software to undertake engineering design). 
• Develop or verify the technical scope of projects and understanding of client requirements.
• Consult with and manage design stakeholders to further best-for-project outcomes. Lead technical delivery, coordinating a team on more complex design options.
• Supervise the daily activities of a project or design team including allocating and checking work and providing feedback on performance.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals and pricing information and may lead proposals for routine projects.
• Proactively assist Project Director’s and Project Manager’s in delivering projects.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering discipline or related field.
• Applies broad knowledge of a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of technical practices demonstrated in a relevant industry or consulting business.
• Expected 5+ years of experience relevant experience (Consulting industry preferred).
• Working Knowledge of Substation Primary and/or Secondary design.
• Working Knowledge of ETAP, load flow studies, Arc flash Studies and Protection design.
• Defence clearance or ability to gain defence clearance – minimum level 2.
• Registered/licensed/chartered Engineer status preferred or working towards.
• Strong understanding of applicable standards and guidelines.
• A track record for delivering exceptional client experience, and an eye for business development opportunities.
