Job Description Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintain and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems. This role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to various projects from inception through to completion.
Job Description:
Design and Development:
- Develop electrical system designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Design and specify electrical components and systems for projects.
- Create detailed plans and technical specifications for electrical installations.
Project Management and Implementation:
- Manage and oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform site inspections and supervise the installation and testing of electrical systems.
- Manage contacts and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance activities with electrical suppliers.
Testing and Commissioning:
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems.
- Commission electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing.
- Develop and implement maintenance and testing procedures.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and maintenance records.
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage the institutional relationship with the DSO, TSO and the electrical regulator.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering and industry best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Relevant Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems.
- Experience in managing electrical projects from concept to completion.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications in electrical engineering are an advantage.
Travel Requirements:
- This position may require regular travel to several sites for inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to travel domestically and potentially internationally as needed.
