Key information
Duties and responsibilities
We are looking for talented engineers who has ambitions to take part of leading Vard in the green transition. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of electrical engineers, with unique possibilities to lead interesting and challenging projects from concept to final product – Shipbuilding A to Z.
- Provide engineering of functional design and electrical integration of the projects
- Keep control of all deliveries from own and suppliers design packages
- Establish and maintain plans and budgets for the projects
- Participate in concept development, and special projects
- Participating in developing the department and processes
Senior engineer tasks will include:
- Involvement in department improvements and process development
- Participation in special projects and/or system design for new and complex technologies
Qualifications
- Relevant education and experience
- Experience from maritime industry is beneficial
- Knowledge of vessel systems and solutions
- Good knowledge of English, oral and written
- Good cultural understanding and effective cross-culture communication
For the senior engineer position we look for:
- Relevant work experience
- Experienced in rules and regulations related to ship design and ship building
