Electrical Engineer – Senior

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance to support the analysis of software and hardware architectures and designs. Priority focus on radio frequency (RF) sensors and effectors.
- Advising program management in EW operations to include electromagnetic support (ES), electromagnetic attack (EA) as well as electromagnetic protection (EP) associated with Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) systems.
- Deployment of new software, feature updates, and fixes, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to user experience.
- Provide subject matter expertise with installing, configuring, and operating Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) as version updates are periodically released.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to team across disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in engineering processes.
- Knowledge, skills and abilities surrounding briefing complex technical concepts to tech professionals and the non-technical professionals.
- Experienced in
- Conducting comprehensive waveform performance analysis utilizing advanced tools such as frequency filters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to ensure optimal signal integrity and quality.
- Software Engineering and Radio Integration
- Testing, and delivery of Army radios.
- Designing and implemented database and table structures for web and mobile applications.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines.
- Possess a respectful team member cadence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in:
- RESTful API architecture using Spring Boot, optimizing backend processes and improving system reliability.
- Integrated the CoAP protocol to facilitate data transmission in constrained environments through narrow bandwidth pipelines, optimizing communication efficiency.
Clearance:
Current DoD Secret level clearance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or relevant field, or equivalent years of direct applicable experience
- 4 years of direct applicable experience can be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
- 4-9 years of experience.
Location:
- Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
- Monday-Friday. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s approval.
Travel:
Scheduled quarterly and sometimes monthly meets.
