Electrical Engineer (Madrid, Spain)

As Electrical Engineer you partner with our Chief Technology Officer to deploy groundbreaking technology for TURN2X and design the power electronics for our next plant generation. Develop a complex energy system that optimizes power supply in an integrated RNG plant, including renewable energy sources, electrical grid connections, electrolyzers, and methanation reactors.

• Plan and operate electrical systems for electrolysis and methanation plants coupled with PV parks for our next plant generation.
• Design and select critical electrical components such as inverters, transformers, and switchgears.
• Monitor and optimize energy transfer between PV parks, electrolysis units, and methanation systems.
• Ensure seamless integration and control of generation facilities and storage to maintain grid stability.
• Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for electrical engineering.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, process engineers, and external stakeholders, to drive project success.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, paired with a strong technical understanding of electrolyzers, methanation processes, and power-to-gas processes
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with medium- and low-voltage systems, power electronics, protection schemes, and grid connections.
• Familiarity with control and automation systems for energy infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and standards in Spain and the EU.
• Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and a solution-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus.
• Openness to work in a hybrid model (Remote and regular on-site time both in our Madrid and Munich office).
