Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Additionally, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for a controlled billet in accordance with DoD Instruction 5210.42 Nuclear Weapons Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

As an Electrical Engineer in Special Test Equipment Design will be part of an innovative team that loves to develop innovative hardware solutions for solving control, measurement and instrumentation challenges in an active test environment.  This individual is expected to work effectively in multi-disciplined engineering teams where teamwork and innovation is key.

You’ll participate in electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis and performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.) for the design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems. You’ll make an impact throughout the electrical development life cycle by supporting our technical engineering products with your sound knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and principles.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience required
  • The ability to quickly understand Hardware Engineering Design concepts and implementation of these concepts in a controlled configuration managed production environment
  • Basic understanding of Analog & Digital Hardware Simulation. Understanding of modern programming & simulation languages (i.e., C, C++, Python, MATLAB, Multisim)
  • Clear understanding of electrical engineering processes

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $28.05 - USD $28.05 /Yr.
