Job Summary:
We are searching for an Electrical Engineer in Training or Designer to join our Toronto project team and assist with the design of electrical systems for various buildings.
In this role you will: have responsibility for preparing and modifying design drawings in Revit for power distribution, lighting, emergency power generation, integrated communications systems, and life safety.
You will be a great fit if: you have an interest in pursuing a career in Building Design as an Electrical Engineer in Training.
Skills/abilities:
- At least one (1) year of experience in designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional and/or industrial buildings
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology
- Demonstrated experience using Revit
- Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to problem solve and make timely and well thought out decisions
- Ability to work independently and in a team based environment
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, focused project schedules and meet deadlines
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada – In-office position
Travel: Little to no travel required.
