Job Description

We are expanding and looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team! Some of the responsibilities include:
- Create specifications and design schemes, project functional blocks, select parts and vendors, test equipment for new projects and modify/enhance existing designs..
- Plan, organize, and conduct projects involving the evaluation, fabrication, modification, and design of electronic systems at board level.
- Prepare requirements documents, design verification and validation, and review technical design for hardware, software and PCBs.
- Contribute to product design and development.
- Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and technical support to solve problems.
- Read schematics, build and debug prototype electrical/electronic circuits.
- Work on cross functional systems design and test with mechanical, software, and applications engineers.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and direction of design, verification, and application technology.

Qualifications

The required skills include: 
-    Skills in motor control using DC motors;
-    Familiarity with the TI DSPs and programming;
-    Capability in using Altium Designer tools for schematic entry and PCB layout;
-    Knowledge of microcontroller;
-    Strong experience with embedded microcontroller and DSP firmware development;
-    Background in power electronics;

-    Computer programming skills in C/C++, Python, and Matlab;

Additional Information

The candidates for this position should be able to: 1) work in a team environment and coordinate the motion control and electric driver development efforts, 2) carry out schematic entry and PCB layout for analog and digital circuits, 3) perform circuit testing.
A Master with at least 2 years or B.S. with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
