Electrical Engineer - Eskom design experience required (PrEng/PrTech)

Do you have 7–10 years of experience in the design, management, and execution of distribution / transmission substations, with a strong emphasis on Eskom design experience? 

• Planning and design of HV power distribution and transmission substations (33kV to 765kV).
• Responsible for managing multiple projects, developing engineering deliverables (layouts, equipment selection, specifications, electrical calculations, and studies) for substation projects.
• Prepare and approve project documentation (BOQs, technical specs, design layouts) to meet local, international, and client standards.
• Present concept and detail designs to client TEC/DRT forums for approval.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and lead junior engineers, drafters, and designers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure design schedules are met, providing regular updates to Engineering and Project Managers.

• BSc Eng, BEng degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7–10 years of experience in the design, management, and execution of distribution substations up to 132kV (Eskom projects REQUIRED)
• Strong knowledge of primary plant equipment technology, including specification, sizing, and selection
• Experience designing substation earthing systems using CDEGS or Autogrid Pro
• Experience working in a consulting, EPC, or Eskom environment is essential

R 1 million - R 1.5 million ctc per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
