Electrical Engineer Opportunity Join Our Clients Team (Philadelphia Area)
City Build Recruitment is excited to partner with our client, a leading architecture and engineering firm, to find an Electrical Engineer who will collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative design solutions that align with the context, budget, and aesthetic goals of building projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze design intent and produce efficient technical solutions. You'll work closely with architects and other professional disciplines, coordinating designs through all phases of the project using your expertise in building engineering systems, materials, codes, and construction technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs components of entire buildings, integrating architectural concepts while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Assesses engineering design needs and develops detailed drawings to support construction projects.
- Conducts engineering tasks, including calculations, code analysis, research on materials and building systems, layout of components, and calculation of program and building areas.
- Evaluates site conditions, such as zoning regulations and site limitations, while performing site surveys and field reviews to document both existing and new construction conditions accurately.
- Compiles, interprets, and coordinates technical data to develop specifications for Project Manuals.
- Reviews project deliverables, shop drawings, and services to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant codes, and quality control standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical systems design tools.
- Strong understanding of building electrical systems across various building types.
- Familiarity with architectural design principles and building code requirements.
- Completion of related post-secondary education.
- Active registration with a recognized professional engineering association.
Required Experience
- 7-10 years of experience working on projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical engineering for building systems.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually
