A client located in Morrow County is hiring for an electrical engineer.
This is a temp to hire position.
Pay is based on experience, up to $80,000 per year
Duties:
Mechanical & Electrical assembly of components according to instruction manuals, 2D schematics, 3D models and reference photographs
Machine commissioning including but not limited to: alignment, utility preparation (electric, compressed air, hydraulic, lubrication, compressed nitrogen), fault diagnoses & recovery, testing and inspection
Identifies, documents, and communicates all quality issues
Intermediate/Advanced experience using PLC (i.e. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley)
Troubleshooting skills of electrical control systems, bot AC & DC circuits
Intermediate troubleshooting skills of hydraulic systems
Supervises & participates in the installation & commissioning of machines at customer facilities
Technical support at customer sites
Occasional overnight travel (10% - 25%)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (or relevant work experience in a similar role)
Up to date resume
Basic Knowledge of Die Casting Machinery: Processes, Systems and Controls
Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring devices, and rigging/lifting devices
Experience using manual machine tolls is a plus (i.e mill, lathe, drill press, etc)
2+ years in a similar role or other demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements
Strong safety record and awareness of current industrial standards
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
Benefits Upon Direct Hire with Client:
