Electrical Engineer Co-Op

The Electrical Engineer Co-Op will work collaboratively with an experienced engineer and is responsible for supporting design and evaluation of electronics hardware and software. This individual is a quick learner with classroom experience in at least some of the following categories: circuits, electric power, control theory, simulation and programming.  

Major Responsibilities:

• Support design of new circuits and circuit boards.
• Support design of embedded controls.
• Troubleshooting of circuits, circuit boards and electrical actuators.
• Support development of simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink or other tools.  

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or a recent graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline.

Minimum Competencies:

• Experience using lab equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other Engineers.
• Eagerness and ability to learn new skills. 
• Experience with a circuit simulation tool, such as SPICE, Cadence, etc.
