We are seeking for Electrical Engineer position based in our Poznań or Cigacice location to join the Electrical Hardware section of Operational Technology & Electrical Project Management department.

Your future team: 

You will become part of Electrical Hardware section. We are a team of 8 specialists representing 3 different nationalities across 2 locations in Denmark and Poland. We have expertise in electrical, automation, and Civil-E engineering, as well as project management.

What you will be doing: 

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be a vital contributor throughout various project phases, from conceptual studies to design, testing, installation, commissioning and providing engineering support in both Civil-E and process automation area. On top of that, you will take active role to create and maintain internal company electrical standards.

Projects may vary from single machinery delivery to large-scale green field projects on a global scale, with a primary focus on Europe, Asia, and North America. In this job you are expected to:

  • Lead the entire electrical scope of the project, from designing, procurement, testing (FAT), installation, commissioning (SAT), and to ensure full documentation
  • Communicate with suppliers and follow up to secure compliance with specific design needs and our company electrical design guidelines & standards
  • Participate in budgeting and the development of tender material for suppliers
  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with other colleagues such as IT, mechanical, automation, and civil to ensure seamless integration of electrical design with overall system functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge base
  • Participate in making the department an inspiring and rewarding place to work by sharing knowledge, support your colleagues in their professional growth and participate in developing and executing department strategies
  • Participate in maintaining and development of internal company electrical standards

Although your new desk will be located in the Nowy Rynek building in central Poznań, Poland, or Cigacice, Poland, you will often travel, primarily in Europe, but could also be around North America and Asia – mostly to meet with colleagues and suppliers and to supervise the implementation of your projects. You can expect to travel 60-80 days per year, with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time. Know, however, that you will rarely be alone.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience in the electrical design and implementation of automation systems
  • Experience with electrical systems and installations related to industrial buildings
  • Electrical design and documentation in CAD software, preferably in ePlan
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget
  • Fluency in English
