Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, and executes assigned task for implementation of projects. Provides necessary support for all engineering evaluations and field investigations as directed by supervisor/manager. Conducts and prepares engineering studies, analysis, designs, drawings, and estimates when necessary. Performs the following engineering services to include but not limited to: developing bill of materials, maintenance procedures, plans, and schedules based on manufacturerβs recommendations. Develops project statement of work, cost estimates, sketches, planning documents for DD1391 including economic analysis and technical specifications that accurately address necessary customer requirements per Naval Facility (NAVFAC) guidelines. Ensures that all facilities and infrastructures lists (CDRLs), reports, plans, and other documentation to the repair of facilities. Proactively manages and coordinates all issues affecting maintenance and repair of facilities. Prioritizes command interest projects and safety issues. Provides support for facility planning services and supports the supervisor/manager for execution of all types of technical assignments including quality control of submittals. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must possess a high school diploma, or equivalent. Must possess a bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, or a bachelorβs degree in Civil Engineering from a full accredited college or university. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience or equivalent. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and estimating software.
Desired:
Professional Engineer (P.E.) and Project Management Experience. Knowledge in G-Net and MAXIMO. Scoping and Cost estimating experience.
