Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer at Green Gravity will lead electrical engineering design efforts for Gravity Energy Storage Systems (GESS), ensuring efficient, compliant, and optimized solutions. This role involves designing and reviewing electrical subsystems and collaborating with external service providers.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in electrical design engineering.
- Medium Voltage (MV) systems, including rotating machines, motor controls, and VVVF drives.
- Distribution systems, 2D CAD for SLDs, engineering process management.
- Commissioning, testing, and mining or electricity sector knowledge is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in developing SLDs, schematics, and managing engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and data-based decision-making.
- Technical report writing, specification delivery, and contractor management.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs in electrical engineering.
- Membership with Engineers Australia (EA) and eligibility for CPEng status, with plans for NER and RPEQ certifications.
