Reports to:  Director, Engineering


Primary Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Support the development of more efficient electrical systems, reducing production costs by an estimated 10% through optimized design and material selection.
  2. Facilitate the electrical implementation of our retrofittable design for glass cockpit.  This project will potentially increase revenue by 25k per aircraft and decrease labor costs.
  3. Enhance our compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the engineering team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems for aircraft manufacturing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements



Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing or similar industry
  • Proficiency in electrical design for aviation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Salary Description
120,000 to 140,000 per year
