enCore Energy Corp., America’s Clean Energy Company™, is committed to providing clean, reliable, and affordable fuel for nuclear energy as the only United States uranium producer with multiple production facilities in operation. The enCore team is led by industry experts with extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of In-Situ Recovery (“ISR”) uranium operations and the nuclear fuel cycle. enCore solely utilizes ISR for uranium extraction, a well-known and proven technology co-developed by the leaders at enCore Energy. We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer in our South TX office.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products. Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses.
  • Diagnose, repair and document designs of specialized instrumentation.
  • Design, construct and troubleshoot PLC, VFD and automation systems.
  • Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Coursework and or experience with integrating hardware into Windows platformed software preferred.
  • Ability, training, and experience in coding most standard platform software is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; Work outside in the elements. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
