Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and supervise a small maintenance team within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in industrial maintenance and project management

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:Β Oversee and mentor a maintenance team, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of electrical technicians, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Shutdown Maintenance: Lead and coordinate major shutdown maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Project Management: Manage electrical engineering projects, from conceptualization to commissioning, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Equipment Installation: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage maintenance budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost control.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • BEng Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, PLC systems, and instrumentation.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of Β a team. Β
