 Arc Partnership is

2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable
land and property portfolio.

meaningful change, and since 2016, we’ve been a strategic partner for
Nottinghamshire County Council. 

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Mechanical and
Electrical Design team and create a real impact by being the person responsible
for delivering comprehensive designs, detailed drawings and intricate
schematics, utilising a suite of current software tools. These will be
delivered to meet the relevant British Standards, Building Regulations, and
other relevant standards, including those related to energy efficiency and
sustainability.

challenges. In this role, you will:

  • Ensuring
    all work is carried out in accordance with legal and technical
    regulations, codes of practice or guidelines.
  • Ensuring
    that any project changes, which may impact on overall programme plans,
    costs, or timescales, are reviewed and agreed in advance with the relevant
    Project Manager and client.
  • Managing
    projects effectively to ensure that the co-ordination of technical
    elements is achieved to meet project targets.
  • Provide exceptional
    proficiency in electrical building services design, and a deep comprehension of
    technical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice.
  • Utilise the most
    effective procurement methods to achieve the best delivery of projects for the
    client and raising their awareness of the services provided by Arc.
  • Carry out designs using
    AutoCAD, Revit, Stabicad and relevant design tools.
  • Provide professional and
    technical expertise and advice to all internal and external customers as
    required, ensuring quality standards are maintained.



What you’ll bring:



We’re looking for people who want to drive change and make a significant

organisation. In addition, you will ideally have:

  • A
    range of experience in designing, specifying, site surveying and project
    management of multiple building projects Ability to
  • Demonstrable
    evidence of successful project management of complex multi-disciplinary
    projects including budgets and final accounts
  • Demonstrable
    evidence of preparing feasibility studies and budget estimates, and budget
    control and financial monitoring, contractual management and negotiating with
    clients
  • Working
    knowledge of sustainable environmentally friendly building services, including
    BREEAM and SBEM audits
  • Broad
    demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering design materials and
    technologies
  • The
    ability to make decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets,
    involving devising solutions and prioritising the resources available
  • You’ll
    have a basic understanding of sustainability in the workplace, and be committed
    to support the business with its carbon reduction strategy
