Electrical Design Engineer - for commercial building Electrical and Fire Alarm System Design (MEP)
- 5-8 year experience.
- Be capable of working independently.
- Proficient with codes (NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 72) and electrical (MEP) and fire alarm design.
- ProficientΒ in AutoCAD. (REVIT is a plus. Not required).
- Work from office.Β But sufficient flexibility.
- Primary responsibilities will include design of elec and FA systems for residential, commercial, institutional and institutional building.
- Some site visit, field surveys are also toΒ be expected.
- PE is optional.
- Typical projects:
- Commerical: restaurants, office fitouts, retail, laundromats, dental offices, etc
- Institution: House of worship, schools, day care center, libraries, etc
- Industrial: Labs, warehouses, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc
- Multifamily Residential: 3-5 apartment to all the way to 200-300 apartment unit building
