  • Engineering support for shop and field service personnel including preparing design solutions as needed.

  • Develop one-line, three-line, and schematic drawings.

  • Prepare electrical equipment specifications.

  • Sizing/selecting components including breakers, fuses, cables, and wiring.

  • Familiarity with electrical power industrial standards, codes, ANSI, CSA, NFPA and NEC

  • Electrical Engineering Degree / BS or MS

  • Good verbal and written communication skills – Comfortable interacting with teammates, customers, and subcontractors.


Pluses

  • Exp with design of power distribution systems and cable/breaker/fuse/transformer sizing.

  • Exp with reading and understanding electrical and oil test reports.

  • Exp with low and/or medium voltage switchgear design.

  • Exp with performing MV or HV transformer testing.

  • Exp with performing LV, MV, or HV circuit breaker testing.

  • Exp with performing relay testing or programming.

  • Exp with low and medium voltage switchgear troubleshooting, assembly, modification, repair, or testing.
