Who are we looking for?   

Our Northeast Engineering Design Organization is growing and looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the team! In this role, you will work on a variety of electrical power generation, distribution and utilization system projects for teams across the Northeast region of the US.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: 

  • Creation and presentation of power studies
  • Detailed design of electrical power systems
  • Preparation of electrical equipment procurement specifications
  • Preparation of electrical construction documents

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain it
  • 5-10 years of experience in the design of electrical power generation, distribution and utilization systems including high voltage main and secondary substations, power distribution equipment, protective relaying and metering, electrical power generating equipment and systems, UPS and power conditioning systems, lightning and surge protection systems, motors and motor controls, indoor/outdoor lighting systems, electrical heat tracing, wiring methods and/or grounding systems
  • Experience working on water and wastewater projects
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit (beneficial but not required)
  • Solid understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) and other electrical industry codes, standards and recommended practices is preferred
  • Familiarity with ETAP, SKM or other computer-assisted power study programs, and an interest or experience in performing short-circuit & protective relaying analysis and power studies is a plus
  • Experience working with Visual Lighting software (AGi32 a plus)
  • A basic understanding of PLC’s

Salary Range: $86,400-$129,600 based on experience.
