Electrical Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our clients close-knit team. This role focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems under the guidance of the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include electrical design, power system analysis, project management, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arc Flash Analysis: Perform and/or oversee short circuit calculations, medium and low-voltage coordination evaluations to optimize protective relay and breaker settings, and arc flash studies in compliance with NFPA, IEEE 1584, and other industry standards. Conduct on-site data collection activities as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare engineering documents such as drawings, sketches, instructions, inputs, calculations, analyses, and evaluations according to industry codes, standards, and regulations to support engineering needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with power system studies using electrical modeling software (e.g., SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power).
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems and data centers (NFPA 70 & 70E, IEEE 1584).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 10%-20%, with travel duration depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.
