DescriptionArconic is currently in search of Chief Electrical Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technology and Engineering (MTE) team based out of one of the RPNA locations at Davenport IA, Lancaster PA, or Knoxville TN.

Job Summary:
- Lead the MTE Electrical Engineering team reporting to the VP of Engineering
- Retain corporate expertise in core manufacturing equipment and process technologies across the Arconic manufacturing flowpath with specific focus on Drives and Large Motors
- Providing support for capex program management in meeting technical performance requirements, staffing, cost, and schedule requirements
- Maintains cognizance over Electrical engineering technical activities within Arconic and ensures the best engineering practices are deployed
- Support acute equipment failures through restoring flow and using problem solving tools to identify and mitigate the root cause
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to stay up to date with industry trends and advancements.
- Support the internal career growth of the Electrical Engineering network ensuring continuous development and technical expertise through training, succession planning, and opportunity for career advancement.
- Expected to work collaboratively and with influence with the global Electrical Engineering network.
- Position will require 25-50% domestic travel
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Ensure the successful deployment of Arconic capital budget through projects that meet the business justification and are delivered on-time and on-budget
- Support acute equipment failures through restoring flow and using problem solving tools to identify and mitigate the root cause
- Lead the deployment of the Corporate Equipment Maintenance Plans for Large Motors and Drives
- Maintain a workable collection of Corporate Electrical Engineering Standards drawings, and documentation to ensure proper knowledge transfer within the team.
- Working with the MTE and location technical councils create a long-term strategy for the development and retention of engineering roles and expertise.
QualificationsYou have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 15+ years experience in the metals rolled products environment
- 5+ years in a technical leadership role
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
Exceptional Candidates also have:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited college or university
- 15+ years’ experience in the aluminum rolled products environment with specific assignments in Cold Rolling, Hot Rolling, and Finishing areas.
- 10+ years in a technical leadership role
- 5+ years’ experience in a reliability excellence program
