Job Description:
- Determine design approaches and parameters
- Perform circuit analysis to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and availability
- Perform schematic design, harness/cable design and present design reviews to peer engineers

- Breadboard potential circuits in lab and evaluate using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and load banks.
- Support vehicle and test equipment builds by creating test cables, troubleshooting power, communications or logic circuits, or leading the modification of designs through a redline process.
- Circuit card level testing and test equipment/process creation.
- Work closely with systems and mechanical engineers to have EE designed CCA’s and cables fit/mate in their intended vehicle locations.
HWCI Digital Engineering
- Design, analyze, modify, test and evaluate hardware
- Design complex Circuit Card Assemblies to support Electronic Warfare, , Avionics customers
- Digital Design requires experience with :
- Programmable logic devices
- Digital Logic
- Digital communications interfaces such as SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, RS232/422/485, CAN
- High density interconnect and semiconductor packaging technology
- Lab equipment
- Ability to study and implement complex processor packages into designs.
- Ability to understand power requirements and design power circuitry to meet those demands. DC-to-DC and AC-to-DC.

Hardware Design Verification
- Design and modify tests to verify the operational state of various L3Harris products and accessories
- Test, analyze, and evaluate the requirements compliance of L3Harris hardware products
- Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, electronic load banks, network/spectrum/logic analyzers and LabVIEW
- Ability to read and understand board level schematics and system level wiring diagrams for troubleshooting during system integration or in support of production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science Engineering or related field
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and/or experience with, Network, Power, Analog, Antennas, Controls, , RF, , DSP, MATLAB, Communication Systems, FPGA, Aerospace industry or Optical Engineering
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of, Matlab,
- Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
- Familiarity with various computing environments (LINUX/Windows)
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, Logic Analyzers, Network/Spectrum Analyzers, electronic loads.
- Knowledge and/or experience with circuit design/simulation tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics, Siemens Xpedition, SPICE simulation tools.
