We are seeking a strong Senior Electrical Engineer for a key role in our Philadelphia area Electrical Engineering Department and supporting the function enterprise-wide.

Successful candidates for this opportunity will possess an entrepreneurial, collaborative, driven, and complex problem-solving spirit.  The Senior Electrical Engineer/Assistant Department Manager must be able to provide technical expertise, serve as a resource for the staff, and support the sales efforts by establishing and maintaining client relationships. The candidate should view this as a high opportunity position with the opportunity for advancement.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Act as lead technical expert and Senior project engineer on multiple projects
• Develop and communicate early electrical design concepts. 
• Assist in electrical standard development and maintain department standards.

Education and Skill Requirements include: 

• 8+ years in electrical/fire alarm design as electrical consulting engineer
• Team supervisory experience
• PE license 
• Bachelor’s degree electrical engineering required from a 4-year accredited college or university
• Strong technical writing ability
• Sound knowledge of building codes
• Skilled communicator with the ability to build internal and external relationships and work with all levels of staff/team
•  Knowledge of Sustainable certification programs
•  Strong software skills including Revit and Short Circuit coordination and Arc Flash analysis programs.
