As an Analog Engineer I at Plexus Engineering Solutions, you will contribute to the design and develop electrical hardware for products across a wide range of industries. This role collaborates with talented Software, Mechanical, Quality, Manufacturing, Test, and User Center Design engineers from all over the globe, and it sees all phases of the product development life cycle - from idea and conceptualize; through requirements, design, and development; to transitioning to manufacturing and into the market. - Collaboration on the design of complex and high-performance electrical hardware including robust power supplies, nimble control systems, precision sensing and instrumentation, and more for medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial applications
- Integrating disciplinary and interdisciplinary subsystems
- Analyzing circuit designs with simulation tools such as SPICE
- Utilizing schematic capture tools such as Cadence/Altium, and guide printed circuit board designer in layout
- Power supply design experience, DC to DC converter design and verification
- EMC design practices and verification activities
- Ensuring quality design outputs and regulatory adherence through documented requirements, verification processes, and detailed design descriptions
- Performing hands-on, in-the-lab, troubleshooting and bring up of prototype hardware
- Supporting Failure Mode Effects and Analyses
- Taking detailed measurements of analog hardware using standard electrical measurement tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to assess circuit performance, investigate anomalies, and inform design improvements
- Working as a team with other analog, digital, software, and mechanical engineers to review and improve hardware designs
- Continuously improving how we work by challenging and improving processes, capabilities, best practices, and tools

- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is almost always required for this position. Bachelor’s degrees in other related Engineering fields will be considered if strong Electrical Engineering background can be shown
